[文法] where's it/where the hell's it
因為前文已經夠長 加上主題不同
所以我另外請問
我以前國中英文老師可能教得不足。
關於縮寫。我記得以前學到的句型是例如
what is that可以縮寫成what's that
who is that可以縮寫成who's that
但英文老師好像從沒提過像where is that可以縮寫成where's that
我也一直以為不可以。換言之我向來以為只有what who可以和後方的is縮寫，
where when why則不可以和is縮寫。這個觀念我一直記著到今天。
所以首先請問：why或when where也可以跟is縮寫嗎？抱歉我問這問題有點蠢。
我真的不清楚。
萬一可以（只是我一直不知道）的話，接著我想請問：
where跟is中間如果放插入語（例如the hell這句咒罵語），那麼is還可以與前一個字
（也就是hell）縮寫嗎？
where's it going?->where the hell's it going?<-是否有這種縮寫上的文法嗎？
還是必須中規中矩寫：Where the hell is it going?
（理由：因為where是where，hell是hell，我以為：縱使is能跟where縮寫，怎麼會衍生成
跟hell也能縮寫？--或是我關於is搭配縮寫的文法一直沒學足？因此懇請指點啊）
