想請教一下大家這句話該怎麼看, 可的話麻煩幫我拆解一下 The encounter followed Doctor Williams' pointed ^^^^^^^^^ 這個不知道該怎麼翻 attack on Mr Mugabe's stewardship of Zimbabwe in a sermon to some 15,000 Anglicans yesterday, in which ^^^^^^^^ 這文法一直搞不太懂 he condemned the lawlessness that characterised the way it was governed. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ 後面這邊也看不太懂 怕上下文意會有影響,放上這段新聞的原文 Doctor Williams said he'd come to Zimbabwe with the hope of negotiating with Mr Mugabe. Robert Pigott reports.」 感謝提點~ 前面確實還有這一段，只是我想應該是沒有影響 我後來想想encounter是不是可以當作「這個交鋒」、「這個衝突」來翻? 因為文中有提到他尖銳的批評這位總統， 如你所說確實有帶點hostile的意味 那"in which"這邊是在指前面的encounter嗎? --- he condemned the lawlessness that characterised the way it was governed (in the encounter.) 抱歉,因為代名詞前何時該加介系詞的這個文法我一直沒搞懂... 最後那句話仍在會意當中...
