兩個句子結構問題想要請教大家，
句子改錯：
1. The sounds used in human languages to create meaning consist of small
variation in air pressure can be sensed by the ear.

答案給presure which can be
可是我覺得句子沒錯啊，如果這樣解釋：
[The sounds (which are) used in human language to create meaning consist of
small variation in air pressure] can be sensed by the ear.
The sounds看成主詞，後面都是都是形容主詞，can be....
請問這樣看句子有錯嗎？
2. There are as many as 200 million insects for every human being, and in
fact their total number exceeds that of all other animals taken together.
看不懂後面的結構：
that of all other animals taken together
是把that看成the number的省略嗎？
