where一般是當關係副詞用，但是它有可以當作關係代名詞用
所以where是代替前面的the birthplace of kites= China
第二句原句是 Kite-flying spread to Korea, Japan,Thailand and India from China.
然後用where代替China
: 3. Few of the gold seekers who flocked to California were experienced miners,
: ____ did they feel that they had to be. (A)neither (B)and either (C)nor
: (D)and so
: 答案是(C) 前面句子也沒有neither耶,怎麼後面會用nor來連接勒?

這題不是在考neither ...nor 既不...也不..
它是在考否定字的倒裝， 你可以用neither 或是nor來表示"也不"
但是為什麼只能用nor?
因為nor可以當連接詞，neither不行
所以要 and neither才可以
看一下B選項，就知道出題者要混亂妳的意圖了
either的話，要改成, and they didn't feel that they had to be, either.
而so 是用再肯定的倒裝， and so did they....
題目寫久了，看選項就知道老師要考甚麼了!
