During the 25 years he lived there, he wrote Huck Finn. 2. 你有查英英字典嗎? (網路上隨便查都有喔) http://www.idiomdictionary.com/definition/in-the-black.html 虧損是赤字嘛, 盈餘就是黑字. in the black = in profit back in the black 就是本來是虧現在有賺囉 3. 這樣看 William realized that {(living on a budget while he set up his own business) was a tradeoff [he had to make (to obtain financial freedom)]}. 還是不懂的話, 先看 It was a tradeoff [he had to make (to obtain financial freedom)] -> He had to make a tradeoff (in order) to obtain financial freedom and what exactly was the tradeoff?
