Please kindly help me understand this term. I need to fill out a form submitted to California Government. But I am not sure about this item which requires me to fill in "Mother's Full Maiden Name". Actually, I think it should be my mother's full name before marriage. But why they need this? They used to obtain people's mothers' name?
