之前我也曾跟你有過同樣的疑問
再詢問了幾個外籍老師後的答案是....
There are pictures on the wall.......正確
There are not pictures on the wall......口語上確實有人這樣說
但就文法上來說....這句是錯的
There are not any pictures on the wall.....正確
There are no pictures on the wall........正確
他們的解釋是.....
not是用來形容動詞的....Eg: He is not sleeping.
而no是用來形容名詞的...Eg: There are no books on the desk.
此外 there is/are 的句型 主要是在強調 "數量" 所以不是回答 not
(除了not any的用法)
