逗號逼迫讀者暫停，因此可以把一些作者認為需要分割的概念分割
拿您的原例句 He went to the store and bought the book.
沒逗號的話這句話是 "他去書店買了那本書" 感覺是一個動作
有逗號變成 He went to the store, and bought the book
"他去了書店，買了那本書" 變成兩個動作了
那一個好的作者，像您例句那樣簡單的一句話，是要一個還是兩個動作，應該都有他自己
的理由
例如 "他去書店買了那本書。日後那書令他獲益良多"
或者 "他去了書店，買了那本書。但是就在他去書店的時候，他家裡遭小偷了"
