[請益] Environmental protection
基於現在環保的議題很流行,
所以我在週記上請同學以環保當主題,
寫一篇英文作文,
礙於自己是學數學的, 希望版上的先進能指導,
能協助我修改這一篇我寫的作文,
(在標點符號、文法以及用字各方面都好)
以利公佈給同學看的時候,
能夠對他們真正有所幫助。
Environmental protection
Ever since Eve ate the first apple, Adam has been troubled about
dealing with the trash-apple core. The apple core would eventually
get rotten in the soil, but a large amount of trash couldn't.
More and more garbage was made with remarkable technological advances.
It is important to keep our living world from becoming polluted.
We should take the environmental problems seriously, shouldn't we?
There are three steps to perform environmental protection.
Reduction is the first one. To reduce the use of disposable tableware,
paper, etc. is one of the effective ways to reduce the emission of
carbon dioxide. The second step is to reuse. Reuse plastic bags as
trash bags or shopping bags instead. Bottles can be changed in many ways,
such as flowerpots, water bottles, and so on. The most important step
is to recycle. Aluminum cans, glasses and waste batteries are recycled
so that we can save more energy and prevent pollutions.
As the matter of fact, to know is one thing, to do is another.
If I were the Gaia, as the character in the move Avatar, I would kick out
all the human beings from the Earth. The reason is that they turned the
most beautiful planet into a mess. All practices mentioned above are upon
to everyone. However, it is for sure responsibility of mankind. As long
as we keep making efforts, we will lower damages to the only planet.
