hey,
I'm in progress of reworking the (linux) ioctl stuff. This is my first
attemt at it; it runs here (basic functionality), though there are some
issues left that need to be addressed.
Just wanted to post it here so that I get feedback wether this is good
or the wrong direction[tm]
