We have been having both gcc 2 and gcc 3 in base for a while. We will use the
same mechanism for gcc 4. So you can choose which compile to use just by settinv
CCVER to gcc34 or gcc4. Right now the hold up is waiting for someone do to the
work to get gcc 4 ready for import.
