'Final' Kernel Size 'Guestimate'
As at DragonFlyBSD Stable of 16 March, a default
install shows DragonFlyBSD kernel size of 21.7+ MB.
This is a significant multiple of the size of comparable
kernels in other *BSD's or Linux, or the ultra lean
OS/2 Warp 'merged' (HMP/UP) kernel.
Presuming DragonFlyBSD kernel is still carrying a great
deal of debug code, may we have a 'guestimate' as
to the approximate size (or percentage reduction)
for the 'final' or production DragonFlyBSD kernel?
Thanks and regards,
