Re: installing jdk14 damages filesytem?
I can't even get firefox to get past 30 seconds worth of the build
before it goes into a stupid configure script loop.
This GNU configure stuff is really getting frustrating. The scripts are
unreadable, fragile, and virtually undebuggable. Nothing is documented
in any sane way. There are fifty different versions of the same program
strewn all over the place. It's impossible to figure out what is
running what, where, when, or even WHY. What a piece of crap.
