IBM "Cell" processor
Does this new "Cell" processor from STI ( Sony Toshiba IBM ) sound like an excellent
match for DF's messaging system? This "true grid-on-a-chip approach" will be used in
the new Sony PlayStation 3 and has outrageous performance claims, explained in the
article at the URL below. A Cell processor may be released around February 2005.
