I had a few minor problem when upgrading kde-3.2 to 3.3 --
the problems were, IIRC, net-snmp won't compile and still
needs a DFly override, and there are a few problems with
some of the panel plugins which attempt to monitor system
activity like loadavg, etc. I found it trivial to edit
the kde makefiles to eliminate the dependencies for net-
snmp, etc, so I got kde installed -- lacking only a few
relatively minor functions. I looked at trying to *fix*
the compilation problems but found it was too complicated
for me. (Hint to Hiten -- and welcome back!)
