Nobody should mess with the release tags except me, but I will explain
it anyway :-)
The release branch is a branch tag, you do not slip it. Instead you
commit into the branch, just like you would commit into e.g. the
4.x branch of FreeBSD.
There is also a release slip tag called DragonFly_RELEASE_1_2_Slip
which would need to be slipped.
