Ok, good. I've pushed it to the 2.8 branch and to master.
Also to everyone running 2.8... A bunch of bug fixes have been pushed
into the branch since the release, despite the release only being one
or two days old :-). There were some under test which had to be
validated before I could cherry-pick them into the 2.8 branch.
