Hi, this started with an upgrade about 1-2 weeks ago (well, it started with *something* that happened 1-2 weeks ago). Network (packet forwarding?) stalled every 6-12 hours. Today I did another upgrade (no configuration changes) and now it happens every 30-90 minutes. This box is my router connected to the net by an rl interface (via pppoe) and connected to the internal network by an sis. When it hangs I can do: # [kill ppp] # ifconfig tun0 down # ifconfig tun0 up # [start ppp] Then I get a: Working in ddial mode Error: bundle_Create: ioctl(TUNSIFMODE): Device busy Using interface: tun0 After which everything works normal again. If I leave out the down/up of tun0 I won't get an error from ppp but it will use tun1 instead which doesn't work. I could provide tcpdump output for both interfaces if there's interest.
