Inclusion of sys/types.h

I've been chatting with the Port Maintainer of fluxbox-devel about a bug
a friend and I found while building fluxbox, which might affect other
things in the DragonFly world.
It seems that at least Fluxbox is assuming that size_t is available
without including sys/types.h I haven't worked with FreeBSD 4.x for a
long time now, so I don't remember if this was a file that included
automatically at some point in most builds or not, but it seems like for
whatever reason it is assumed it's included, but it is not. Is this
something that needs to be addressed or is it something wrong with the
program?
