I may have a clue: I found that if I boot with moused_enable="YES" then I don't have the problem.. if I set it to "NO", I do. I'd be interested to know if this has the same effect on other people having similar keyboard-loss problems. It makes some sense that the mouse could be the problem in my (KVM switch) case, but I can't see how that would affect PS/2 keyboards without a KVM switch. I don't know how they interact though. -Chris
