哈哈，交作業時用英文寫，大家多多指教給柯南的信 Dear Conan, One day, I read an ad on newspaper that they are looking for people who are interesting in writing a letter to a character in comics. Knowing you for such a long time, almost thirteen years, it is my first time to write to you. Well, let me introduce myself. I’m a college girl comes from Taiwan. Now, I’m a little older than you, but once I’m so young comparing with you. We have the same interest that we both are Sherlock Holmes’s fan. Maybe we can discuss it when we meet or in the next letter. I think Ran will think that we two are crazy, ha ha. The only person who knows the charm of the greatest detective in the world will appreciate him. Do you aagree? I am supposed to call you Shinichi, but I think the name Conan is cute. So, could you let me call you in that name? What a crazy and incurable fan of Sherlock Holmes you are! I always doubt why Ran doesn’t recognize you. I think it is weird for a Japanese to name after an English detective novelist. And you had unconsciously given so many clues, but Ran and Kogoro didn’t aware of it. Maybe it is like what a Chinese proverb says, ‘You will be blind if you are the person involved, but you will be clever when you are outsider. Besides, I don’t know I have to say you are genius or fool, Conan. Being a detective, you are gifted and you do an excellent job. Your have profound knowledge of drugs, biology, guns, and your logic is terrific. But in the world of love, you are a toddler. The relation between human is subtle and complex. Maybe you think you are protecting someone or helping someone, but the person might think you are cheating or destroying them. Although I know you want to protect your dear girlfriend from being hurting by Black Organization, I think you should confess to Ran that you are Shinichi. Otherwise, you may lose her. By the way, do you think that having a childhood again is a terrific thing or a nightmare? Well, surrounding by simple-hearted children and having three adoring detective friends is a wonderful thing, isn’t it? Shiho is happier and not feeling blue by the influence of Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, and Genta. You are also influence by them. It is a good thing that Shiho who has an unpleasant childhood can enjoy childhood again. It is the time that is most carefree, no worries in life. Speaking of Shiho, she is a genius. So many people use countless time and effort to let them to be young again; surprisingly, but such a young and inexperienced girl- Shiho did it successfully. Like old Chinese proverb says, ’When you want to plant a flower, the flower doesn’t bloom; but you unconsciously grow a willow, it grows very well.’ Sometimes, you are eager to do something, wanting something happened, but it never come true; you do one thing unconsciously, than it comes up pretty well, out of your expectation. That is life, I think. You can’t expect what will happen in next minute, and that is part of fun in life.
