The fourth-year pro and his agent have been in talks with the Bulls brass abou t a new deal, and both sides appear confident something will get done before t he Nov. 1 deadline. But for Butler, who was kicked out by his mother at 13 years old and was homel ess for a time growing up, waiting a few more days, potentially weeks - Taj Gi bson's extension talks went down to the 11th hour two years ago - on an eight- figure deal is just fine by him. "I don’t really think about it. I grew up without money. I think I’ll be alr ight for a couple more days," he said after the Bulls' first training camp pra ctice at the newly minted Advocate Center. "I just play basketball.
