[問題]無機問題(氫原子模型)
小弟做到92年台大無機時,見到一題:
Considering the atomic structure of hydrogen with Schrodinger's approach,
which of the following statement is correct?
(A)3s and 3p are equal in energy
(B)the electron in 3s is always closer to the nucleus than in 3p
(C)transition between n=3 and n=4 absorbs visible light
(D)n=0 is not allowed
(E)UV light can ionize the electron
書上答案是(A)(B)(D)
我的問題是B和E:
(1) B的部分,從逕向分布函數來看,3s在接近原子核的機率是比3p高(多一個小peak),
但是出現機率最高的不是應該是後面兩個大peak嗎?
難道3s完全不會跑到比3p遠的地方嗎?
(2) E的部分,我將13.6eV換成波長,算出91.2nm,應該算是UV光不是嗎? 為何不是答案?
