He experienced a headache after the game that worsened over the course of the night and during pregame activity tonight on the court. He was evaluated by the Cavaliers training and medical team and diagnosed with a concussion by Cavaliers Team Physician Dr. A.J. Cianflocco. As a result, Irving is being held out of tonight’s game at The Q against the Clippers. There is no timeline for his return to play. His status is day-to-day and will be updated as appropriate.
