關於死亡 我很喜歡 John Donne的詩 “死亡，不要驕傲”
尤其是最後兩句
One short sleepe past, wee wake eternally,
一旦短暫的睡眠過去，我們將永遠覺醒
And death shall be no more; death, thou shalt die.
死亡再也不會有，死亡，你自己應該死去！
這是我覺得 基督信仰對死亡一般的態度
至於不是基督宗教的人去世 應該也是回歸父家
天主是所有人的天主 不是只是基督宗教的人的天主

無數的歡樂，也是從你，湧流出來，
And soonest our best men with thee doe goe,
我們中的最優秀的人隨你去得越早，
Rest of their bones, and soules deliverie.
越能早日獲得身體的休息，靈魂的解脫。
Thou art slave to Fate, Chance, kings, and desperate men,
你是奴隸，服從於命運、機會、君王和亡命之徒，
And dost with poison, warre, and sicknesse dwell,
在毒藥、戰爭與疾病間徘徊
And poppie, or charmes can make us sleeps as well,
鴉片、迷藥也可以讓我們甜美地睡去
And better than thy stroake; why swell'st thou then?
那麼你的突然降臨又有什麼好呢？你又為什麼驕傲？
