Avatars don't always produce their opposites,
so says the show's official explanations;

Ben and Justin are of the same 'generation.'
Sophie, as Justin's offspring, is the next
generation and she's a CoD. (The eyes have it!)
Ben's offspring (that we assume is in Sophie)
will have to be a CoL, cause each generation
must have one of each.
Stands to reason that's why Sophie is the Omega,
cause within her is both a CoD and a CoL. A whole
generation in one person -- until the child is born.
Also, a consideration: To receive the 'boon,'
an avatar must kill their predecessor. Sophie
must kill Justin, and the baby would have to
kill Ben (if all our assumptions are correct).
This brings up an interesting point: perhaps
Sophie was healing Justin in the corn field
so that she can kill him and get her boon....
