Someone may want you to stick up for someone you are angry at, or at least
tolerate their intolerant behavior. This person may have said something to
offend you - and it was probably intentional. You have every right to feel
angry, and it is understandable if you don't want to see or speak with this
person, Moonchild. However, you need to consider the source. If this is
someone especially close to you through friendship or a family connection,
then you need to offer the benefit of the doubt and assume there is something
you don't know. That's always a better first option.
