: Wang. He entered Tuesday night's game against the Chicago Cubs at

對國民隊小王來說，這第三場比賽真是有夠精彩的。
在比賽前，小王的成績是二敗零勝，自責分率是6.00。
不過，就在星期二晚上在Wrigley Field對小熊隊一戰中，小王率領國民隊以3:1拿下他的第一場勝投。
: Using a strong defense behind him, Wang six innings giving up only one
: hit, no runs, issued two walks and racked up one strikeout. Wang held
: the Cubs hitless through five. It was the type of performance the
: Nationals organization was hoping to get from Wang after he took
: nearly two years to recover from an injury. His first two starts of
: 2011 showed signs of promise, but ultimately he faltered. Not Tuesday
: night. Tuesday belonged all to Wang and he earned his first Major
: League win in nearly two years and his first in Nationals uniform.
: The offense took a little while to gear up, but it finally broke Matt
: Garza in the sixth. First baseman Michael Morse demolished a Garza
: pitch for a solo home run and his 20th of the season. Later in the
: inning, with a man on, Jonny Gomes delivered a two-run no doubter of
: his own. It was the 13th of the season for him and the second as a
: Nationals outfielder. Third baseman Ryan Zimmerman finished the night
: 1-for-4, but has now hit safely in 17 straight games.
因為有堅強的防守作為後盾，小王在六局的投球中，
僅僅讓對手擊出一支安打，沒有任何失分。小王也投出了兩次保送與一次三振。
小熊隊在前五局裡，都無法從小王手中擊出任何安打。
小王的這種表現，正是國民隊球團在小王受傷兩年歸來之後，所想要看到的。
小王在2011年的投兩場投球中，讓大家對他充滿期待，但最後都以敗頭收場。
不過，星期二的情況就不是這樣了。
小王成為這一天的主宰，不但贏得將近兩年來的第一場勝投，這也是他穿上國民隊制服的第一場勝利。
國民隊的球員多花了一點時間暖身，一直到第六局才突破Garza的投球。
一壘手Morse率先從Garza手中擊出單響炮，這也是他本季第20支全壘打。
同一局，當一名隊員上壘時，Gomes又擊出一發兩分炮。
這不但是Gomes本季第13支全壘打，也是他成為國民隊外野手後打出的第二支。
最後Zimmerman以四支一的表現結束這場球，不過他已經連續17場比賽擊出安打。

小熊隊在第八局終於從中繼投手Clippard手中得到一分。
但是，終結者Storen在第九局登場後，順利解決小熊隊，拿下今年第30場救援成功。
國民隊目前的戰績是56勝59敗，在國聯東區名列名列第四。
