"But I bunted through it, and neither one of us did our jobs." "那時候其實是下達safety squeeze的戰術，我應該要觸到球，而他應該要看對暗號"，Bartlett表示，"不過我觸擊失敗，我們兩個都沒有做好我們的工作。" 註: safety squeeze是指三壘的跑者必須等到打者確定碰到球之後才起跑。 Wang finished snuffing the threat by striking out Bartlett for the third out. 小王最後三振了Bartlett解除了這局的危機。 The Rays mounted one last threat in the seventh when Cliff Floyd and Eric Hinske each singled to start the inning, putting runners at first and third and chasing Wang.
