seven of the eight games in the friendly confines of the Moda Center.

for a daunting five-game road trip against teams (Dallas Mavericks, Houston

(1-1), as well as a loss to each. The Grizzlies have a 1-0 series advantage.

goal percentage and 29.1 percent from long range. Three times Portland allowed
better than 45 percent from the floor, going 1-2 in such games.

when holding teams under 100 points.

Portland made more three-pointers (79) than the opposition (51) in six of the
last eight games, going 5-1. The Blazers edged the Lakers 9-8 in made threes in
a loss Monday, but attempted 11 more shots (29 to 18) from long range. Portland
was 1-1 when making fewer threes than the Spurs (loss) and Nuggets (win). In a
13-for-29 performance agains the Hawks Wednesday, the Blazers hit 13 3-pointers
for the 12th time this season, the most in the NBA.

Since getting mugged on the glass by the Nuggets in Denver (64-41), the
Blazers – thanks in part to Nicolas Batum – have averaged 15 more rebounds
per game than their counterparts (52.8-37.5). Portland tied its season high in
total offensive rebounds with 20 Monday against the Lakers.

time in his career, totaling 49 (16.3 per game) over that span. His career-high
18 Wednesday was the fourth 18-rebound performance of the season for a member
of the Blazers, joining LaMarcus Aldridge, Thomas Robinson and Robin Lopez.

In the absence of LaMarcus Aldridge (groin), Damian Lillard upped his averages
to 30.5 points on 50 percent from the floor and 44 percent from long range, to
go with 6.8 assists over five games. With Aldridge back in the offensive game
plan, Lillard's numbers dipped to 16.3 points, on 46 percent from the field and
28 percent from three-point range, and 4.3 assists over the last three games.
His field goal attempts also dipped from 19.6 per game to 13.7.

Aldridge had a forgettable night in Wednesday's win over the Hawks, going 1
for 13 from the floor, matching his lowest point total of the season with 10 (2
other times). Aldridge, who is averaging a career-best 23.5 points per game on
46 percent from the floor, has admitted his timing is still off in the three
games back since missing five games with a groin injury. He went 7 of 15 for 16
points in his first game back and scored 21 points on 9 of 19 from the floor in
Monday's loss. The three-time All-Star has been limited to around 30 minutes
per game since returning, down from his average of just under 37 minutes a
night. "He's not playing his normal minutes so the rotation is not the same,"
head coach Terry Stotts said after Wednesday's game. "It's an adjustment coming
back after not playing for two weeks. Playing shorter spans. He doesn't have
the same rhythm."

10 games on the season with 14-plus rebounds after entering the year with just
one. Lopez increased his blocks total to 101 on the season, making him one of
nine players this season with at least 100 blocks.
