* Advice to new generations who would like to be young managers:
1. Know who you are, be yourself and comfortable in your shoes.
2. Be curious and desire to learn, understand what is around you.
3. Give your Boss new insights and be your boss's important resource.
4. Knowing the way your boss got his/her success would be the pillar of
your career.
5. While integrity is the ticket to your management career, your passion,
vision, and the ability to motivate people to that vision are also
important.
6. You should build your team, help people to grow faster and stronger than
you do.
* What are the manager's responsibilities to deal with the upcoming crises:
1. Face the problem, do not try make it seem less serious than it really is.
2. Don't be panic.
3. Articulate the situation to your boss, co-workers, and subordinates.
4. Take action and deal with the problem.
* How to balance short-term and long-term goals:
You always need to eat for grow.
Morris Chang:
* Advice to new generations who would like to be young managers:
1. Integrity: Besides money, know what you want.
2. Focus on your current job, take advantage of your strength.
3. Learn your boss's job, get his/her insights.
4. Be a team player.
5. Humanity.
6. Self confidence.
* How to balance short-term of share holders and long-term goals of the board:
Utilize the rolling basis, ie, telling the general public short term and
then demonstrate the long tern to them.
* What are the manager's responsibilities to deal with the upcoming crises:
1. To avoid crises before you predict them to happen.
2. If it happens, face it.
