[新聞] Astros dismiss skipper Porter
HOUSTON -- Astros manager Bo Porter and bench coach Dave Trembley were
relieved of their duties on Monday, the team announced. Tom Lawless was named
interim manager through the remainder of the 2014 season.
Porter had been the Astros' manager since the start of the 2013 season after
being named to the position on Sept. 27, 2012, while he served as third-base
coach for the Washington Nationals. Adam Everett will join Houston's coaching
staff, replacing Trembley as bench coach. The remaining coaches will continue
in their current roles.
簡譯:總教練Bo Porter被解僱，由Tom Lawless接任。而板凳教練則換Adam Everett。
Lawless擁有接近35年的大聯盟和小聯盟的球員和教練經歷，今年在3A擔任內野跑壘指導
員。而Everett擁有11年的球員經歷，包含2001-2007年在太空人，在2013年加入太空人
小聯盟的內野教練。
