Sky Sports News understands Arshavin travelled by private jet from St Petersburg on Sunday night and is now waiting for both clubs to agree a fee before he undergoes a medical. It is understood Arshavin did not want to miss out on a transfer to the Emirates Stadium for logistical reasons and decided to travel to London as a precaution in case a deal is agreed on Monday. Zenit had previously said there was no change in developments after Arshavin left the club's training camp in Dubai on Saturday.
