Goal.com http://0rz.tw/soO3H Doni – 6.0: The Brazilian number two didn’t have all that much to do tonight, and couldn’t do anything to prevent either goal, but perhaps jump the right way on the penalty. Motta – 6.0: A fairly chaotic performance by the former Udinese man, as he was brilliant at times, and poor at others. He managed to provide the assist for the De Rossi goal, with a great run on the right and an even better cross in to the area, however he also failed to close down Balotelli for his first goal, and he let that same player skip past him to eventually win a penalty for the second. Panucci – 6.5: The veteran was welcomed back to the Roma squad with a spot in the starting line up alongside Mexes, and he certainly can hold his head up high following a respectable performance. Mexes – 6.5: The Frenchman did extremely well to completely nullify the impact of Adriano in this match. He didn’t have the biggest impact himself, although his defensive efforts were second to none. Caught ball watching for the Crespo goal was his only blemish tonight. Riise – 7.0: Arguably his greatest game in the Roman colours to date, as he managed to score an incredible goal to open his account in the Serie A, with superb control, a great run, and a lovely finish on 29 minutes, whilst he also offered a lot at both ends of the park all match. Brighi – 7.0: Grabbed a goal tonight, after a great build up from the Giallorossi. He rediscovered his very best touch in this match, as he anchored the midfield alongside his captain for the majority of the night. De Rossi – 7.0: A hard working performance by the captain, who deservedly got his name on the score-sheet with a brilliant header on 23 minutes to score the opener. He gave away the penalty however, which allowed Inter to re-open the match at 3-2. Taddei – 5.5: A fairly anonymous performance by the Brazilian winger throughout this match tonight, who had no impact whatsoever. Pizarro – 6.5: A professional performance as always by the Chilean tonight, as he was an influential figure in a number of the Roman attacks and build up plays. Baptista – 7.0: The Beast performed much better tonight as opposed to his club’s most recent match prior to this one against Arsenal, and he had a great chance to open the scoring in the first minute of play from a free kick. He set up the Brighi goal, with a lovely move to beat Cambiasso. Vucinic – 6.5: The Montenegrin was by no means a dominant performer in this match, but he certainly put in another hard working performance. He had a glorious opportunity to make it 4-2, moments after Inter’s second, but failed to hit the target with a header from close range.
