(a) The Board shall grant or renew licenses to persons who make application
and demonstrate:
(1) that their qualifications, including where applicable, the qualifications
prescribed by §35105, are in accordance with the following Subsections of
this Section, or
(2) that they are eligible under the substantial equivalency standard set out
in §35122 of the Act which requires licensure for those CPAs that establish
their principal place of business in another state. The holder of a license
issued under this Section may only provide attest services, as defined, in a
CPA firm that holds a permit issued under §35107 of this Law.
