有這樣的句構：
[To Vt + O] + is/was + adj(SC)
其中，[ ] 的部份是動作當S
Ex. [To please Mary] is difficult.
如果這時候要把To Vt後的O拿出來加強，就可以把O變成新的主詞
然後把to Vt移到句尾。
--> S'(原O) + be + adj. + to Vt(缺受詞)
所以剛剛的例句就可以改為：
Mary is difficult to please.
將對就沒有所謂to be pleased的說法了，
因為原句不能能用to be pleased 來表達：
[To be pleased Mary] is difficult. [X]
就醬。
