[分享] Word to the Wise: Bonhomie
"Bonhomie" (bah-nuh-MEE) - from the Latin for "good man" - is a pleasant and
affable disposition.
Example (as used by Joe Queenan in My Goodness: A Cynic's Short-Lived Search
for Sainthood): "I would carefully study the exploits of positive role models
like Peter Gabriel, Jimmy Carter, and Alec Baldwin, and attempt to emulate
their radiant bonhomie."
