各位留學版的朋友們好，我是目前在USC就讀CS PhD的Bob。我們的實驗室2017秋季剛成立，希望在此徵詢對機器學習(尤其是理論/演算法方面) 有興趣的臺灣同學一同加入(需申請USC CS PhD program)。研究主軸包含online learning, bandit problems, boosting, optimization, game theory等。我的指導教授Haipeng Luo是位十分年輕(2016 PhD from Princeton) 但學識非常紮實的學者。他很願意花時間與學生一對一討論 (e.g., 我一週平均可以與他咪挺三小時)。有興趣的人可以上他的網頁 http://www-bcf.usc.edu/~haipengl/ 查看，並且直接聯繫他(haipengl@usc.edu)。當然也歡迎寄信詢問我問題(bahh723@gmail.com)。謝謝大家！祝大家都能申請到心目中的理想學校！以下是關於教授的英文版介紹： Prof. Haipeng Luo is looking for students interested in pursuing a PhD in the area of machine learning. Haipeng is an assistant professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Southern California. His research interest is mostly in theoretical machine learning, with a focus on online learning, bandit problems, boosting, optimization, and game theory. He completed his PhD from Princeton under the supervision of Rob Schapire, and his work has won the best paper awards of ICML'15 and NIPS'15.
