[問題] stipend的持續時間疑問
標題下的好爛，我的中文有點退化的態勢，囧
昨天熱騰騰的剛收到獨立於admission的funding offer，但對於裡面提到給予stipend的
duration有點困惑，以下貼上在offer中關於這部份的陳述：
The assistantship offer consists of a tuition waiver which covers up to 9
credit hours of coursework per semester and a $13,250 stipend for the first
two years (stipends are paid on a twice per month basis). Note that this
award is for the 2017-18 academic year only. Graduate assistantships are
reviewed annually for renewal and are based on availability of resources from
year to year.
我的疑惑是，該offer是給one academic year，但是stipend的部份卻是給予two years？
也就是說我工作one academic year然後拿13,250是24個月的總額？有點邏輯不通，囧
可以請板友幫我釐清一下嗎？第一次拿到funding offer所以不太懂
我是社科類別外加看美國政策吃飯的，所以請不要覺得錢怎麼這麼少，有就要笑了XD

但它在信的最一開始時說to offer you a full time graduate assistantship for the
2017-18 academic year (08/15/2017-05/15/2018)，所以確實是只有一年的保證，然後a
nnually evaluate your assistantship ability。但是提到stipend 的部分又是for two
years？
