˙UT Dallas (Naveen Jindal): 75% Scholarship
[選校評估]
˙U Rochester
- 優: 在生醫業界校友較多、商學院知名度較高
- 劣: 學費較高、冬季長且氣候嚴寒
˙UT Dallas
- 優: 德州發展迅速帶動商學院排名快速上升、學費及生活費皆較低
- 劣: 生物領域表現較為普通、校友就業多以科技業為主

由於 UR 較早拿到錄取通知，
且前幾屆畢業校友在生技醫藥業界皆有不錯的表現，
因此原本心中已八成底定要去這間。
沒想到今天拿到 UTD 的錄取信，
看到獎學金這麼肯給又開始動搖了，
更何況氣候也是一個很大的考量因素。
請教過之前在 UPenn 的實驗室老闆，
她認為如果是她會挑 UTD，
原因是 less expensive、higher scholarship、nicer location，
甚至直言 unless there is a specific reason that Rochester is much better。
所以想在這裡請教各位板友有無任何建議，

我最大的顧慮也是在這裡，
UTD 的 Employment Report 裡面滿滿都是有名的科技業大公司，
相比之下生醫類出路顯得較不突出。

當初面試時 MBA Program Director 的確有提到你說的這些醫療體系，
但是從官方網站提供的 Top Employers 感覺看不到這部分的成果：
7-Eleven / AT&T / Alcatel-Lucent / DeloitteConsulting / Ericsson
E&Y / Sabre Holdings / Texas Instruments / Verizon / Wells Fargo

看了一下德州的生技就業機會，
除了 Austin 和 Dallas 之外，
Houston 和 San Antonio 似乎也有不少生技相關產業。
