[問題] 關於因為兵役問題延後入學

小弟今年申請2013秋季班也很幸運的拿到了兩間AD 可是超級壞消息就是本來以為我的身體狀況是會免役的結果體檢出來結果竟然是替代役目前是打算寄信問對方學校能不能讓我延後一年入學 (前提是我明年入學之前要退伍...) 這邊是我目前寫好的信,這樣寫還可以嗎? Dear Admission Officer, As an applicant to your MS program, I'm to be honored for your kindly offer for the admission at your institution. However, due to unexpected circumstances, I have to spend one year for military service in my country before I go abroad. In this case, I won't be able to enroll in Fall 2013. So I intend to defer enrollment for one year which means I will enroll in Fall 2014. I highly appreciate the kind assistance that you have rendered to my application and admission.
