About the University
Founded in 1766, Rutgers University is the eighth oldest college in America.
Rutgers is also the only public university in New Jersey in the Association
of American Universities (AAU). AAU institutions are North America's 61
leading research universities, recognized for the quality and scope of their
research and educational programs.
Rutgers and Princeton are New Jersey’s only AAU institutions.
As the southernmost of the three regional campuses, Rutgers University-Camden
delivers all the resources of a world-class research university with the
benefits of a small supportive campus. Rutgers-Camden offers 35 undergraduate
degree-granting programs.
Rutgers-Camden also offers a wide variety of Master degrees and doctoral
programs.

Conditional Admission
Conditional admission is available at the undergraduate and graduate level for
academically qualified students. Conditionally admitted students may satisfy
their English proficiency requirements by either successfully completing one
of our pre-approved English language programs or achieving requisite scores on
the TOEFL or IELTS exam.

Scholarships
Undergraduate international students are eligible for merit scholarships
ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 per year up to four years. MBA program now
offers scholarships. Graduate students are also eligible for research and
teaching assistantships.
Tuition
The Wall Street Journal’s SmartMoney magazine ranked Rutgers #6 in the
nation and #1 in the Northeast for value. For the 2012-2013 academic year,
undergraduate tuition is $22,766, school related fees are $2,694 and
on-campus room/board is $11,262. Graduate tuition varies by program.
Location
Rutgers-Camden is less than 10 minutes from center city Philadelphia,
1 hour from Atlantic City, 2 hours from New York City, and 2 1/2 hours from
Washington D.C. The Rutgers-Camden campus is centrally located and public
transportation is plentiful.
