[問題] 如何催促interview?
有一位教授本來說要跟我做interview
我有在SOP提及有興趣的,她信裡也說願意讓我進他們group,不過要先跟我聊聊
跟我要了skype帳號,我給她後過了一星期才回我這封信
I regret having been unable to contact you, due to a very busy travel
schedule and several pressing family issues. One of us will be in touch with
you shortly.
又等了一星期沒收到任何人跟我聯絡的消息
前幾天寄信問他們group的學生教授狀況究竟如何, 我想直接打電話去聊可不可以
他學生就回我:
Prof. XXX is indeed traveling now and busy. She is a very nice person,
so it should be perfectly fine if you politely remind her. She could be
unavailable, but she will NOT think negatively about you. I totally
understand your feeling, I went through the same process before. My
suggestion is that you take it easy and don't worry about it too much.
實在很怕拖下去夜長夢多,以前聽過interview被放鳥收rejection的例子
想請問一下要怎麼提醒教授比較禮貌
要講說我怕拖太久最後很危險嗎 (讓她了解我的急迫)
還是就單純提醒她還沒有人聯絡我
因為她信裡都提到了several pressing family issues,很怕寄信一直去催會不太禮貌
