PhD Position Physical Chemistry / CRD Spectroscopy
A PhD position in Physical Chemistry is available at the
Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel, Germany. Within
the framework of the cluster of excellence ‘The Future
Ocean’ (www.ozean-der-zukunft.de/), the group “Ocean
Surface Chemistry & Reaction Kinetics” develops
Environmental Applications of Cavity-Ringdown Spectroscopy.

The successful candidate should hold a Diploma or Master’s
degree in Physical Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
Experiences in laser spectroscopy and/or marine/environmental
chemistry are advantageous. The position will be awarded for
(2 + 1) years, a start date of February/March 2012 is anticipated.
Salary will be according to the German civil service level TVL-E13
