[分享] SEVIS I-901的轉換
本來被U. South Carolina錄取後~決定要去念了~
簽證相關文件等都已準備妥當(含SEVIS I-901完成繳費)
但是~就當要辦理面試前(連要往南卡的機票都刷卡訂了)....
UCI來了封信通知我也錄取了...囧
跟爸媽討論後....決定要前往UCI求學......
那...已繳費的SEVIS I-901怎辦.....我不想再繳200美金啦..
參考 http://www.ice.gov/sevis/i901/faq7.htm 的內容..
在收到UCI的I-20後...即刻寫信至 fmjfee.sevis@dhs.gov 向他們闡述我的情形...
信件內容應告知訊息如下:
1.SEVIS ID轉換原因
2.姓名
3.date of birth
4.原來的SEVIS NUMBER及要轉換過去的"新"SEVIS NUMBER
5.目前有效地址
6.原來收據的號碼
但是..要轉換的版友們要切記符合連結內7.A的規定喔
7.A. What are the basic rules for applying a SEVIS I-901 fee payment from
one SEVIS ID number to another?
The basic rules for moving a SEVIS I-901 fee payment between SEVIS ID
numbers are:
The SEVIS I-901 fee must be moved between SEVIS ID numbers for the same
individual.
An additional SEVIS I-901 fee is not required (For more information, see
the section, Do I pay the fee?)
The SEVIS I-901 fee amount for the new school or program must be less
than or equal to the SEVIS I-901 fee already paid (see the Fee Amount
Chart)
Only the student or exchange visitor may request the move
很棒的是..I-901 CASE RESOLUTION UNIT 在收到信的1天半內即回覆我~
並告知我...他們已反映並更新我的資訊..我可以前往他提供的連結...
輸入SEVIS ID, last name, DOB後...即可印出電子收據...
其效力等同於"HARD COPY"...並在簽證面試時是可被接受的...
