大家好又到了口試的季節在這裡貢獻自己之前申請博班找的一些關於口試的資料但是請版眾"切勿寄站內信給我" 我平均上PTT的時間大概是一到三週一次 = = " 切入正題: 【口試一開始】打招呼是一定要的順便確認對方身分 Good morning. Dr.xx. This is xxx. I am very pleased that I can have the chance to be interviewed by you. [口試的Basic問題不外乎], 1. Can you shortly introduce yourself? 學歷家庭背景大約2-3min 2. 有時會問What's your parents do? 3. The reason why you are pursuing Ph D. degree? Why you want to study in the field of biology? 為什麼想要念Ph. D.(每所學校的必問題目) 4. Why this program? 為什麼選這個program? What characteristics are specific to this program and distinguish it from competitors? this should be more specific 甚致要明確講出想跟哪些老師一起做研究 5. What's your contribution to our program?你覺得你可以為學校或是班上帶來些什麼 (你會有啥貢獻，也是常出現的題目) 6. Will you continuing on studying gastrobiology (your previous research field)? 7. What are you doing now? 8. What's about your writing ability? 9. If you receive several admissions, which school you will choose and why? 這個很常被問喔 10. The reason why you can not be here to have an on site interview? 11. When and how did you learn about our program? When did you start the preparation? 【實驗相關問題】 12. Research experience? Tell me about your recent research? 介紹一下研究經驗 (然後從裡面問問題, 看原創性和是否了解不同的看問題解決問題方式, 能否看出自己的研究的弱點與改進方式) 這部份是問問題的大重點我自己的話是把過去研究的結果整理成一個Figure跟一張summary picture 簡單易懂，然後要記得吹唪自己做的東西對學術界有何貢獻 13. Can your study be applied into industry or clinical field? What will you do in the future? 未來發展 14. What's your biggest challenge in the experiment? or 缺陷及改進方式【Time for Q&A】在口試約30min之內除了會被問問題老師們通常會希望你問問題 (學長姐有教, 要一直問問題才表示很有興趣) 很好的方式是先請他們介紹自己的研界領域再從中找問題 besides 我自己也找了下面這些問題來問 1. When you face some difficulties during doing research, what do you do? 2. How do you ask key and interesting questions? get a big picture, and try to find some big. 3. May I ask about your collaboration? 4. What kind of factors those contribute to a good Ph D? How long do most students take to graduate? 5. How many articles do students publish before graduation? How many projects do student have in the same time? 6. Will you recommend student to publish their research in the time? What do most students do after graduation? 你的PhD student / postdoc的出路? Where are the recent alumni employed? Generally for post doc position. 7. As I known you will take new student this year. But I am curious about in which way you used to train your student? Does your program or your lab welcoming international students? 【其他】：這兩年諾貝爾獎得主的名子 proteasome degradation… 問題五花八門! 【結尾】最後不要忘記，一定要再感謝教授們一次，感謝他們給你這個機會phone Thank you very much for granting me this interview with you.
