This love is
Not a fire that burns
Me down to ashes
Anymore
I wouldn't want to
Be reduced like that
Let's be
A pair of leaves
Or butterflies
If we need to be gone
By the wind
The world is wild
And lonely too but
We're lucky
That we get to
Hold each other's hands
The kisses we planted
On our skin
Will grow
And they have grown
Into something majestical –
Some people say it's
Not even a word
Which is exactly
What I mean
This love isn't describable
It is
What it is
