And do those men in present time Wave the flags of Sun and Sky? And is the fierce fire of their hearts Burnt madly in their blindfold Eye? And does the Countenance hostile Glare at our Island fair and free! And was the Jade Mountain reared here, Facing a thousand rockets be! Give me your hands of civil care; Sing me your march of freedom's ire! Bring down the Walls: O my friends fair; Drum the sound of People's desire!
