from Rain and Chilly Wind
for half day of weekend
Heading for the parlor
the aunt takes care
crowded of hungry customers
mixed with flavors of delicious soup
and steaming yummy rice
for an abundant Sunday brunch
Turning on TV
delis, snacks, exotic foods shown
here and there
captured one's attention
(with eyes and stomach as well)
Unbelievable the few hours left
looming the M-day in a eight-hour
spin of temporary disaster
--nightmare to a tiny wager earner
Seize the rest of time now !
