[創作] Swelling Memories of Yore
The incubus of the swelling memories of yore
Spreads the great wall of the perennial skies
With thorny hues sprawling ever more –
A satanic spree of blossoming orchids in disguise.
Heaving all the strength of survival self-taught,
Advancing like a stern boat nothing can ever halt,
The soldier weathers storms of the scorching summer
And nights of the howling, bone-crushing winter.

PS.
In general, for us to be haunted or troubled
by the bygone seems to be a universal experience.
The composition of this piece was intended to
delineate how this idea was hatched mataphorically in me.
